The Wen Sweet Almond Conditioner, designed by Hollywood stylist Chaz Dean, is a versatile shampoo and conditioner replacement that moisturizes fine hair and hydrates even the thickest hair types. It’s the original cleansing conditioner from the Wen Line.
To test it out, Emily McClure tried it for seven days, and wrote about her experiences for Bustle.com.
The first day, the sheer amount of product recommended seemed a little crazy — 10-16 pumps of product for short hair, 16-24 pumps for medium hair, and 24-32 pumps for long hair – but despite filling up her palm with product, it really works. It’s recommended that you put the conditioner on top of your head and run it through to the bottom of your hairs, let it soak for a few minutes then rinse. With her long hair, it was obvious that fewer hairs were falling out in the shower even on day one, and after the first use, her hair felt a little fuller, a little more alive.
Softer locks, extra shine, and added volume are all a definite benefit of using WEN by Chaz, and gave her added confidence in her look By day two, her hair was already producing extra oils each morning and that continued for all seven days of the trial. As a result, she reported that it’s best to use the product in the morning to keep greasy looking hair to a minimum. And on day six, when she went out with some friends after work, they were all complimenting her on how shiny and great her hair looked. The only drawback, she wrote, was that it took some extra effort on her part to keep her hair washed and clean, but despite that, she’d definitely reach for it when she needed an extra boost for her hair.
